Weekend operation April 6. 2019
Assisted with full package of our services
(See more pictures of the operation below)
Saturday April 6. we performed a loading operation, that involved all our departments and required our full scope of services.
The fine vessel, which visited Esbjerg, had the purpose of loading windmill equipment. The windmill equipment was shipped as part load with final destination outside the European Union. The vessel was already carrying cargo with special classification, which is why it needed to be discharged to a secure area, while the loading operation was in progress. The special cargo also required attendants, from both the Danish Emergency Management Agency and the local police. Everything went as planned, and according to all regulations and authorizations.
Description and involvement from our dedicated departments:
HSEQ
Our HSEQ department performed a RAMS (Risk assessment and method statement) and applied for all required permits, in close cooperation with the Danish Emergency Management Agency and the local police.
Stevedoring
Performed safe discharge and re-loading of classified cargo, and completed the loading of the windmill equipment.
Agency
Nominated as agents for the fine vessel and acting as OPC (One Point of Contact) throughout the project.
Terminal
Safe handling of classified cargo, plus receiving and shunting windmill equipment.
